Player Network: Find Players or Get Invited — Right at Your Venue

Planning a game should be simple. But in reality, it rarely is.

Last Updated: 08 Apr 2026

Sometimes you’re just one player short.
Sometimes you want to play, but don’t have a full group.
And often, the people who could help are already playing at the same venue—you just don’t know them.

That’s exactly what Player Network on Attendez is designed to solve.

It’s a simple, venue-based feature that connects players and captains—so games don’t get delayed, cancelled, or stuck in WhatsApp loops.

The Problem: Games Fall Apart at the Last Moment

If you play regularly, you’ve likely experienced this:

  • A group is ready, but 1–2 players drop out
  • The captain starts scrambling to find replacements
  • Messages go out in multiple groups
  • No clear way to find reliable players nearby

At the same time, many players:

  • Want to join games individually
  • Are available—but only at certain venues
  • Don’t always have a team ready

Meanwhile, venues already have a base of regular players—but that network is inactive and disconnected.

Player Network brings all of this together—right where it matters: the venue page.

What is Player Network?

Player Network is a venue-specific player pool available on every venue page.

It allows:

  • Players to join the network and receive game invites
  • Captains to find and invite local players
  • Venues to activate their local playing community

Instead of searching randomly, everything is tied to a specific venue—making invites more relevant and more likely to convert into actual games.

How It Works for Players

If you often want to join games individually, Player Network gives you a simple way to stay connected to venues you like.

Step 1: Join the network for a venue

On any venue page, go to the Player Network section and:

  • Mark the venue as a favourite
  • Enable “Notify me when someone needs a player”

If you’re not logged in, you’ll be prompted to log in via OTP. If you’re already logged in, this takes just a tap.

Step 2: Complete your profile (if needed)

If your profile is incomplete, you’ll see a message like:

“Almost there — Your preference is saved. Complete your profile to receive invites for this venue.”

This ensures that when captains discover you, they have enough information to invite you confidently.

Step 3: Start receiving game invites

Once your profile is complete, you become eligible for invites at that venue automatically.

Now, instead of chasing games—you’ll receive WhatsApp invites for games happening where you already like to play.

How It Works for Captains

When you’re short of players, Player Network helps you find the right people—quickly.

Step 1: Go to a venue page and tap “Find Players”

Select the sports-type, date & time when you are hosting a game to begin the invite-session. Your session is tied to that specific venue, so you only see players who:

  • Are interested in playing there
  • Have marked themselves available

Step 2: Filter and shortlist players

You can filter players based on:

  • Sport
  • Age group
  • Day and time availability
  • Last active
  • Invitation status

Each player profile gives useful insights like:

  • Sports and skill levels
  • Availability
  • Acceptance rate
  • Recent activity

This helps you invite players who are more likely to match your game.

Step 3: Send invites using credits

Captains use credits to send invites, credits are used to prevent abuse of this feature. You can buy additional credits within the session dashboard.

  • Credits are not tied to a venue
  • Each invite consumes 1 credit
  • You can earn credits through platform actions or purchase it directly from the invite-session window

Your dashboard shows:

  • Available credits
  • Invite progress
  • Sent, opened, and accepted invites

Step 4: Track responses in real time

Once invites are sent, players will receive a WhatsApp message with unique link, This link shares the details of the sport along with captain's profile and an option to reveal their contacts details with you

  • You’ll see when a player opens the invite
  • You’ll know when they reveal their contact details on the dashboard
  • You will also receive a WhatsApp notification

This gives you full visibility into your recruitment process.

Why Profile Quality Matters

Player Network works best when profiles are complete and accurate.

To receive invites, your profile should include:

  • Full name and age
  • About yourself
  • Sports played and your level
  • Day and time availability

To make this easier:

  • Missing sections are clearly highlighted
  • You get a checklist to complete your profile
  • You can even use voice input to describe yourself, which is converted into text using AI

A better profile means:

  • More relevant invites
  • Higher chances of getting selected
  • Better matches for captains

How Player Network Works in Practice

Let’s say a captain looking to book a game at Maestro Turf for Sunday evening is short of 2 players.

Instead of messaging multiple groups:

  1. They go to the venue page - Player Network section
  2. Open Find Players
  3. Filter for Weekend - evening availability
  4. Invite a few matching players

On the other side:

  • A player who has joined that venue’s Player Network
  • Gets a WhatsApp message about the opportunity with a link
  • Player can then review the captain profile along with game details
  • Accepts if it fits

Once contact details are exchanged, player and captain can contact each other. We recommend to do your own due-diligence before any time or commercial commitment

Why This Works - It’s Venue-Specific

Player Network is intentionally tied to individual venues, not the entire city.

Why this matters:

  • Players only get invites for venues they actually play at
  • Captains find players who are realistically available
  • Travel friction is reduced
  • Acceptance rates are higher

It’s not a random marketplace—it’s a local, relevant player pool with high intent.

Why Venues Should Promote Player Network

For venues, this is more than just a feature—it’s a growth tool.

Venues can:

  • Share a direct link or QR code
  • Let players join the network instantly from the venue page
  • Encourage walk-in players to opt in

This leads to:

  • More filled games
  • Fewer cancellations
  • Higher repeat visits
  • Stronger local community

Player Network turns a venue into an active playing ecosystem—not just a booking location.

Bringing It All Together

Player Network solves a real, everyday problem in sports:

  • Players want to play—but don’t always have a team
  • Captains want to play—but struggle to find the last few players
  • Venues have players—but no structured way to connect them

By connecting all three—at the venue level—Player Network at Attendez makes games happen faster, smoother, and more reliably.

Whether you’re:

  • Looking to join a game
  • Trying to complete your team
  • Or running a venue that wants to build a community
