- Captain Initiates the Booking
The first person who makes the initial payment becomes the Captain of the booking.
The Captain can:- Set the minimum contribution amount per player (in the dashboard, after completing the initial payment)
- Share the booking with others to join and pay
- Initial Payment Secures the Slot
To initiate a booking:- A partial amount or percentage is paid upfront
- This confirms the slot temporarily
- The exact amount is defined by the Turf Owner’s rules.
- Players Contribute in Real-Time
After the initial payment:- You are redirected to the Split-Pay Dashboard
- Players can start contributing instantly
- The Dashboard shows
- Names of contributors
- Amount paid by each player
- Remaining balance
- 📊 Everything updates in real-time, ensuring full transparency.
- Track Payments Anytime
The Split-Pay dashboard is always accessible from the booking flow & Under “My Bookings” → “Awaiting Payment” tab.
This makes it easy to:- Monitor progress
- Remind teammates

- Booking Confirmation
Once the full amount is collected within the allowed time, the booking is confirmed. No follow-ups. No confusion. No manual tracking.
Flexible Controls for Turf Owners
Split-Pay is designed to work for both players and turf owners.
Each turf owner can configure:
- Enable/Disable Split-Pay
- Initial Payment Rule
- Fixed amount or percentage
- Allowed Time to Complete Payment
- Eligible Time Slots for Split-Pay
- Deadline for Full Payment Before Game Time
- Refund Policy (if payment is not completed)
This ensures:
- Better booking control
- Reduced last-minute cancellations
- Guaranteed revenue protection
What Happens If Payment Is Not Completed?
If the team fails to complete the payment within the allowed time:
- The booking may be cancelled automatically
- Refunds are processed based on the turf owner’s policy
What If the Booking Fails After Full Payment?

If, for any reason, the booking fails after full payment is completed:
- ✅ 100% refund is issued to all contributors
- Every player gets back exactly what they paid.
